FunBox: Fun for the Whole Family at the World’s Biggest Bounce Park!

This past Sunday, my family and I had an absolute blast thanks to an amazing giveaway win from TheFamilyArcade! We won a fun-filled family day at FunBox, the world’s biggest bounce park! We were able to visit them at Westfield Wheaton DMV – Wheaton, MD, and I’m happy to share that it was a day to remember! As a mom who rarely wins anything, scoring a fun family outing was incredible. Here’s how our experience went down, from the perspectives of a mom, dad, and our three awesome kiddos (ages 7, 5, and 3).

Fun from the Second We Arrived

The bright colors and massive bounce area (or should I say, bounce palace!) had my kids practically bouncing in their seats (pun intended!) the minute we pulled up. They were beyond excited, and it was contagious! My husband and I were thrilled at the opportunity of exploring this giant bounce experience with them – a perfect opportunity for some quality family bonding.

The staff at FunBox were great – friendly, helpful, and got us all set up with some cool, funky socks (which you can see in the pictures!). Stepping into the bounce area was like entering another world. We all ran in, amped up with excitement, and ended up in a pile of giggles after a few unexpected tumbles.

A Bouncer’s Paradise for All Ages

My 7-year-old daughter expressed that this was the “coolest experience ever” and insisted she wanted to come back again soon. My 5-year-old son channeled his inner monkey, jumping and climbing with unstoppable energy, all while shouting about how much he was enjoying himself. Even my cautious 3-year-old, determined to explore on his own two feet (even if it meant a few stumbles!), felt safe and happy bouncing around. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the kids made new friends while they played.

As parents, it felt fantastic to let them loose and explore. FunBox provided a safe space for them to burn off energy, practice their gross motor skills, utilize their communication skills, and so much more – presented as pure, wholesome fun!

Exhausted and Happy!

By the end of our jumping time, we were all happily worn out. We finished off the perfect day with some delicious snow cones from a vendor right there at FunBox. It was pure joy – feeling like a kid again while spending quality time with my amazing family.

Highlights for the Little Ones (and these are just a few of the many fun things to enjoy!):

• The tall, pretty high slide (watching our kiddos conquer the climb to the top was super cool to see how brave they were!)
• The slam-dunking fun of the basketball area (they attempted slam dunks)
• Conquering the giant bouncy dome (it was super cool to see how brave they were jumping up and down!)
• Running around playing tag was a cool, fun challenge.
• And of course, the many laughs of seeing Mom and Dad fall while trying to keep up with their unstoppable energy!

Highlights for Mom and Dad?

• Jumping around with the kids and getting some quality time and feeling like a kid again!
• Witnessing the pure joy on our little ones’ faces at the end of the day (sweet victory!)
